Connecting to ... Nepal

Our Rotary members once again on the move... today connecting to Nepal

On Saturday, April 06, 2019 our member Tony Faure was a guest speaker, on behalf of our Rotary Club, at the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Event in Sanga - Nepal to talk about Leadership and Rotary.

This event for young Interactors and Rotaracters, in the range from 16 to 20 years old, as well as for prospective new members was sponsored by 12 local Rotary Clubs. Over 80 participants attended this 5-day event)

Tony’s magic outfit, was functional as he used magic during his presentation to interact with the public.

Being part of Rotary International provides a way to connect to people and to build strong and lasting relationships. Our membership connects us to a global community and our service connects us to people who share the same values and who want to take action for a better world. It connects us to people we would never otherwise meet and who are more like us than we could have imagined.
